Catholic Women’s League Annual General Meeting Weekend, October 17th  -  19th to be held at the
The Spa Conference Venue, Scarborough.

Once again it is AGM time and over 550 members of the League, and their guests, will gather in Conference to review the work completed in the past year and to deliberate how best to meet the demands that will face the League in the future.

Members of the National Executive, of the Social Awareness and Publicity/ Promotions Teams and members representing every Branch in England and Wales will be present. They will be joined by their Past National Presidents Mrs Avery Limmer-Triggs,

Mrs Anne Fox, Mrs Margaret Littlewood and Mrs Sheila Jennings. Other guests include the National President of the National Board of Catholic Women; the National Presidents of The Union of Catholic Mothers in England, Wales and Scotland; the WUCWO Board member for UK; and the Diocesan President for Durham - Mothers’ Union.

Mr Tony Hardiment, CAFOD’s Programme Manager for Burma, Bangladesh and China will address the Conference on Saturday afternoon and then, when the business of the day is complete, Mr Gervase Phinn well-known author and raconteur will take the floor in the evening.
